Caring for your items knitted with natural dye:

• Keep out of direct sunlight for long periods of time.
• Hand wash only in cold water using a mild soap such as Ecos or Eucalan. 
• Lay flat to dry

All fibers are washed after dyeing, but slight color transfer ("crocking") may occur while handling them.

You may also find bits of leftover dye materials in some yarns dyed with cochineal, orange osage, lac, and marigold.

Caring for your naturally dyed fabric:

• Keep out of direct sunlight for long periods of time.
• Wash in cold water using a mild soap such as Ecos, hand washing is preferred.
• If machine washing, don’t pour soap directly onto fabric.
• Line or machine dry.
